Some friends and I stayed here last year. After having a great stay, we chose to return this year for Anime Weekend Atlanta.
Sunday's breakfast was, in my opinion, not acceptable for a four star hotel. I got there 30 minutes before the cutoff. They were out of milk that wasn't skim (most can't eat cereal without milk), bacon/sausage/protein that wasn't eggs, french toast, and some of the juice machines were dispensing watery juice. I assumed it was because of a crowd passing through and that they would replenish. Only one dish of french toast was brought in that time span, and it was immediately emptied by all the people waiting. I saw a guy ask about other protein options, and they brought out a huge tray of bacon. They set it down, let him get some, and started shutting the door after he finished! It was confusing why they would waste that food/shut us out when some of us were waiting for it. 30 minutes before closing isn't a good time to cut off replenishing when it was that empty for so long. I left breakfast feeling very unsatisfied, a pastry and scrambled eggs was all I was able to eat. I don't drink coffee, so there was nothing for me to drink. This may have been a one-time occurrence, because every other breakfast has been good.
Just a heads up: I saw another reviewer mention privacy. The bathroom/main bedroom doors are both sliding doors that don't block any noise and don't lock. They are aesthetically pleasing but could be improved upon.
Cody was by far the best. She helped me out so much. I will be back because the way the employees interacted with myself and each other, like a big family. My room was way better than I could have ever expected and the bartender Erica was amazing
I subtracted a star for 2 things: parking and breakfast. The gated parking is a new addition this year. While great in theory, it was a bit of a mess when trying to coordinate who in your party had the key to get out. At least once, I was stuck in the parking lot while my passenger had to run back up to the room. I had to hope they were there or there was no leaving. The fee is $50 if you lose it, which is a bit steep in my opinion. Strangely, the gates don't keep people out. Someone who wasn't a guest used the 30 minute option (?) and came in, waving what we assumed was a bag of drugs at us on his way out. Not the Embassy's fault that he was there, but it proves that the gates aren't foolproof and serve more to annoy guests than improve their stay. Parking was extremely limited; it was hard for us to find a spot for our one car. The Embassy should take a cue from hotels that limit the amount of cars per room during times when they are completely booked. Maybe this is the reason for the gates, but signs warning about booting/towing cars would be enough of a deterrent. Gates + limited spots + one way layouts made parking a bit of a headache.
I was here for a business trip. The hotel room was big with a separate living room and bedroom. Included free breakfast, wifi and 4 alcoholic drinks during manager reception. Nice bar area with 4 big screens to watch any games. Embassy suite are among most luxurious hilton brand hotel. I would stay here again if given the opportunity
This was truly a wonderful place to stay overnight. Everything was clean (except for the pool area, but I don't blame the staff at all for that). The staff was professional, courteous and oh so very pleasant. They all made you feel as if you were the only guests staying in the hotel. It was AWESOME! Give them 2 thumbs up.
One reason we choose the Embassy over other hotels is for the great breakfast they offer. Saturday was great! I got there around 9 and everything was in order and well stocked.
Visited the Embassy Suites by Hilton Atlanta Galleria and the staff , the management(Mary) and I even had to speak with the controller- Pat(absolutely wonderful lady to talk to) were absolutely amazing to work with. We went there for a family reunion and everywhere we went the staff was welcoming and so nice, professional and helpful. The building is very clean and very beautiful. The rooms are nice, big and roomy. I wouldn't recommend any other place to stay when visiting Atlanta than this place. Thank you to the people that work there for blessing our family with such an awesome experience!
I like the atmosphere of the hotel in general, it is very relaxed in the evening. The presence of a security guard at night made me feel safe. The rooms were clean. They have a fitness center and indoor pool/jacuzzi, but I didn't use them during this stay. Shower water pressure was excellent, which is super important to me when staying in hotels.
The pros: I liked the efficiency of the elevators. Even at peak times when everyone is checking out, they are pretty quick.
