Nice! Day before thansgiving, I did same day reservation with other company and lost money and time. It was around 12 am -12:30 am on November 21. The manager was to rude. He downgraded the vehicle and tried to charge me the same amount.
The process of getting the car and returning it was very easy. The people were very friendly. The car was clean and in great shape. The only reason that I am giving it 3 stars instead of five is because the associate told me I had to have insurance, which wasn’t true. And that prepaying for my gas would be cheaper, which also wasn’t true. I spent over $100 more than what I budgeted based on the quote when I rented online.
Corporate Dollar/Thrifty should investigate this location.
I Rented a car at the airport for work and had to drive it to Greenville SC (2 1/2 hour drive). The temperature was in the 90's and the cars air-condition did not work. When I called I was given the run around. I was unable to use the car for the 2 day in SC because I could not transport clients in a car without air. Ultimately I was discounted one day of my miserable 4 day trip. I will no longer use Thrifty or their affiliates Dollar and Hertz. As far as customer service they might as well have spit in my face.
Once again, Thrifty Atlanta Airport does not fail to impress. Your staff is friendly, attentive, and efficient! I am truly hopeful that your staff in Dallas can meet my expectations, as I have a rental there in April and the staff in Atlanta have raised the bar VERY high!! I highly recommend becoming a Blue Chip Member. This affords a seamless rental from beginning to end.
The very definition of trying to "pull a fast one" over a customer. It seems that this location trains their reps to insist that you "must" purchase the high-dollar insurance plan, effectively tripling the cost of your rental. My rep tried to do this without my consent as well as asking me in a friendly tone if I would like to upgrade vehicle class, obviously omitting the important detail that IT COSTS MORE. The first contract presented to me totaled $280. Simply insane for a 3 day economy car rental, which I obviously declined to sign.
I would not give even one star. I reserved full size SUV, because I needed to pick my son and few of his fruends after graduation in Fort Benning, to spend time together and selebrate the Thsnksgiving Day. When I came to pick vehicle ip, they offered me small interior 4 cyl engine SUV. When I asked manager to give me correct car, his answer was: only what I can do for you is to cancell your reservstion
