A 1.3 overall review rating says all you need to know about this place. Frankly, I would give them a zero if I could. Customer service is practically nonexistent at this place. Avoid at all costs.
Original price was $18.07 for one day. Unable to return bc we cannot find the lot for 30 minutes. By the time we found it, it was closed. Address is incorrect on original contract for location to drop off car. So, I Called reservation extension # and extended reservation from 10/13 6pm to 10/14 at 11am instead. Request was approved and we were told by an automated system there would be a $10 charge if the extension was more than 7 hours, and a reference number was provided by the system over the phone. Unfortunately I had no way to take down this number, but can assure that the request went through successfully. However, upon returning the car at 1030am on 10/14, the agent did not know how to process the return on her own, fled her supervisor at another location, as she was all by herself, and we waited 30 minutes for the return to take place. After the receipt printed we were charged $231.09 for the entire rental.
Reserved a car from this location. Showed up at the appropriate time and was notified they had zero cars. Not zero cars of my type... just no cars. So unprofessional for a car rental company to allow any of their locations to open the doors with ZERO cars available. We had a reservation. That clearly meant nothing. Terrible all around. What can you really say? Failed at pretty much every aspect of being a car rental company. Too bad there isn’t a zero star option. This is negative 5 stars
The absolutely most insulting car rental experience. Made a reservation in Atlanta only to be called one hour before pick up that they don't have a car. No offer to find me another car. Even more insulting, I have to go online and do the leg work to get my money back.

This Avis location is horribly located and very poorly marked. We drove around for 2 hours trying to find it and ultimately were unable to return the car before the location closed. We called the reservation line to report this and were able secure a brief extension until the next morning. Somehow the extension confirmation and rate that was quoted was lost and we were charged an additional $75. Avis customer service was great with us even though they couldn't locate the confirmation, and they did refund us the extorted amount. However, beware of the location because it is very difficult to find and they are not apologetic about this.
DO NOT RENT HERE!!! Worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. They did not have the same size car (XL SUV needed for 7 executives traveling together) I reserved and said there was nothing they could do. Offered me a much smaller car with one less seat and 3 less luggage spaces that was not clean. I asked to speak to a manager - the manager was phoned and he told the customer service rep he was busy right now but I could have his email address so I could file a formal complaint. I asked for another Avis to transfer a car to me and they said this owner is a franchise owner of 3 metro Atlanta locations so they cannot pull cars from other Avis locations AND if I wanted a car from another Avis outside metro Atlanta, I could go get it myself!
