So there I was checking in to get my car I rented with my airplane ticket. Let me tell you there was a line. My wife and I had been waiting almost 30 minutes. Grant it, it was kinda busy but there was only 3 people in front of us. But the people were adding up behind us. Then the clerk had the nerve to tell the lady that was 4 behind us. Oh ma'am you can go down stairs and they can check you out faster. Now I'm not racist but she wasn't the same color as my wife and I but she was the same of the clerk. Now I had no problem with that if it was to keep the line down but she was the only one that was told to go down to the faster desk. Any way so my wife and I g9t to the desk finally and we start down our paper work. And no problem right? Well that's what we thought. So we proceed to do the paper work, everything was good until I go to pay instead of paying 203 like my ticket said. I was told 432 and some change. When I asked why I was told that it was a deposit and that I would be refunded after we returned the car. Well when we returned the car we were told that we would have our confirmation receipt emailed to us well we never received an email. 4 days later I check my bank account and I seen that I was charged 432. Well when I called to ask I was told that I had paid for collision damage. Which I know I declined when we signed for the car and yet I haven't received and of my deposit back. I hope no one gets the shaft from Advantage Rent a Car like my wife and I did.
I was exceptionally pleased with the employees. Every person that I came in contact with was friendly and helpful. The lady at the exit gate provided a map and even wrote the directions I would need to get where I needed to go. My car was good value and I was happy with it too, but the customer service is what would bring me back.
Why would anyone pay more for an item like a rental car than necessary. I checked prices online and Advantage was by far cheaper. They gave me a free day because I joined their Rewards Program. Same cars, same facility, same sky tram, fast & efficient service. You are crazy to use the expensive guys unless you burn money for fun.
This company did the best they could to accomodate me, courteous professionals at the call center and at the counter. I actually got a nicer car than I expected, and with 24hr availability it was so convenient for my 3 hr flight delay. They were understanding and patient. I am satisfied and will use them again in the future!
Excellent experience! Very friendly staff and great car (except for dirty windows)! The best experience I've had yet with a car rental company!
