Great place for kids! Story telling is the best.

This is one of many of Atlanta's old early 20th century homes. This home once belonged to Uncle Remus, author of works like "The Tar Baby" and "Brer Rabbit". This hone is now a museum and plays host to a number of events, including a Gatsby Lawn Party (which was the purpose of my visit).

I attended an event here on the lawn which turned out nice. The museum staff were also inviting and sugguested that attendees come in for a tour.

Check out for new events and explore the West End!

History, prestige and heritage.

Had a wonderful talk and tour with the docent. Learned a lot about Joel Harris, his home, his background and what inspired his stories of Brent Rabbit and Uncle Remus. A great way to spend a couple of hours.
