Great museum. It was bigger than I expected, a good size for kids. Loved the audio tour. The entire family enjoyed it.
It's been years since I've been to a museum and I had a great experience. Great collection of Greek, native american and Egyptian artifacts. I was so happy to see also the Rosetta stone (though a copy of course.) The gift shop is amazing and i even bought a book on the famous Rosetta stone.
What a gem! An amazing Muesum on a beautiful campus! I was blown away with the amount of ancient artifacts that are in this same Muesum. The ancient Greek sculpture to the Egyptian mummies and the African headdresses, it's an awesome way to spend an afternoon. I found the staff helpful and extremely friendly. Can't wait to go again...!!!
This museum is a hidden gem. Small, cheaper, and quick to tour through but with some incredible artifacts and art, including mummies. Well worth a stop at Emory along with a walk around campus if you're in Atlanta.
Great place to visit. Not much parking unless you want to pay. I suggest arriving right before closing time and just parking in the one hour free parking on a side street and just walking the short distance their. If you move quick, you can see everything in the hour before your free parking expires. FYI, Most public libraries give a free pass to the museum for up to 6 people at no charge.
