UPDATE: Last weekend I experienced an interaction with one employee, who single handed turned this 1-star review into a 3-star one with her excellent service. She went out of her way to identify a hard to find item, made sure it was exactly what I needed AND find a lift to get the last one off an upper shelf. Not even her department! Give this woman a promotion, much of the rest of the staff could learn from her!
With that other major store not far away, you'd think they'd try just a tiny bit harder. In short, the only reasons to go to this location are 1) You know exactly what you need and where it is in the store (with the exception of lumber, which is so bad, you will have to discard 4 out of 5 pieces you dig through) or 2) You can't spare just a few minutes to drive 3 miles to their competitor.
This Lowe's stands out only because of how bad it is compared to every other Lowe's location I have been to. The employees actively avoid interacting with customers; preferring to talk among themselves, hold personal telephone conversations and even occasionally reversing direction in an aisle when you attempt to approach one. If you are fortunate enough to corner an employee, there is only a small chance they know where/what you are looking for. They will grunt an aisle number, shrug and try to disengage as quickly as possible. They will NOT actually help you find it as they seem to have better things to do.

Great location and all the usual things of a home store. I particular like this Lowe's bc of the staff. Super friendly and helpful. They actually ask how I'm doing and if I need ant help.
Staff here rarely brings lumber/construction carts back inside the building, instead letting them pile up in the parking lot for customers to have to retrieve themselves.
Usually have great service and don't complain but attempt to purchase appliance has been truly awful. Walked in knowing what I wanted, placed order. Order set for delivery on wrong date in Lowe's system by appliance salesperson, called and got reluctant admission of error,, decided to wait. First delivery date, no dice. Rescheduled. Second delivery date, no dice (its now been more than two weeks). After 30 mins on hold with delivery company, gave up and tried store. Two attempts at calling store 8pm and 8:30 resulted in 10 min hold and hang-up, then another 10 minute hold, after which I gave up. Am going to try in person tomorrow.
It's handy to my house and has most of what I want. The service is friendly but inadequate. They're often understaffed and it's hard to get someone to help but they try hard to help when they're available. In my recent visit they sent across the store to another section where the employee told me to go back and I never found what I the item I needed something from the cage and the employee never came back but the cashier was quick to get it when I was checking out.
It's the best service, and it's the worst service. It is a tale of two extremes. There are times I have had them do an appliance install and it was wonderful. Most recently, it was dismal, dishwasher was in stock, a Bosch. I had to call them and email them multiple times after 10 days had passed. Finally, they contacted the contractors and it was installed. They are now on my list of will only use them if I have no alternative.
Just to be clear, this review is specifically for this Lowe's location, not the company as a whole or website.
