This is a good hardware store. It's not one of the cleanest or friendliest in town, but you can find what you need if you know what you're looking for. They definitely don't deal with the bad attitudes or seemingly helpless customers but just walking around in the store is a magical trip. There's merchandise absolutely everywhere and it is very old-fashioned. It looks much smaller from the outside, but once you walk in you can hardly make it to back of the store. Old staff, old store, charming products, blast from the past, fun and interesting.
It's fun to walk in here even if you're not looking for anything specific. Staff somehow knows how to find everything in the maze of goodies. Really helpful.
I had the most exceptional service by Mrs. Tammy. She was so polite and helpful. I was able to find everything I needed and more. But the best part, was her enthusiastic attitude. She should be considered an asset to your company!!!
My family and I have been shopping here for years and have been loyal patient customers and DID enjoy supporting local business. During the most recent storm I went here to get some extra propane last minute. It was 1:30pm and the blonde haired lady at the door told me they were closed. I politely said thank you and proceeded to returned to my vehicle. I told a gentleman in the parking lot that pulled up after me they were closed. He proceeded to knock on the door any ways and THEY LET HIM IN TO BUY WHAT EVER HE NEED!!!!! They we so quick to turn me away with no explanation you have lost my family and I has customers for good. Way to treat your customers I guess Lowes gets all my business now lady. Thanks for nothing.
This place is the local hardware store from my childhood on steroids! Despite the size they have a really, really good selection of tools (some hard to find stuff too!). Definitely worth the trip even if it's a little out of your way!
Wish they stayed open later... but this is the epitome of your local hardware store.
