I bought all my furniture for my apartment from here, they really do have nice stuff. If you're expecting great quality then it goes with paying a premium for it. Sometimes it's worth spending if you know you're going to keep t for a while, and or want to resell it
This used to be my preferred location, however it seems as the level of service has declined. Rusty was a huge help but I see less of him these days, if at all. I've visited twice in the past week attempting to figure what changed and am left puzzled. I do know that I can walk the entire store twice and never be offered help. Which is unusual, considering furniture typically doesn't sale itself. They typically have a good selection of merchandise and it's easily accessible.
The furniture seems nice. If I could only get it delivered. I paid the delivery fee. I have to arrange for delivery (condominium where you're required to reserve the freight elevator). I ordered a sectional (right side chaise, left side sleeper sofa) and a reclining chair. Attempt 1: they sent the chair, a right side chaise and a left side chaise. Nope... send back the left side chaise. At least now I have a place to sit. Attempt 2: (again... after adapting the service elevator request a second time to the delivery times I was offered)... Sofa arrived damaged. I'm seriously considering Rooms To Go (or anybody else) for future purchases. I can't say whether this is a West Elm problem or a problem with this particular site. It seems like a pretty straightforward proposition, though... deliver what was ordered undamaged.
This store has a lot of beautiful items. Guard your wallet! You will want to buy everything. I love that they have craft workshops there. I've attended a couple and enjoyed making something for my home. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well.
Terrible customer service, extremely rude employees. Never expected this from a West Elm. Will not be coming to this location again.
