I don't do much furniture shopping but I came here because of my aunt's suggestion. The layout is nice. There's plenty of furniture and items to choose from but it's not too packed. It's still spacious with plenty of space to move, and there are plenty of associates available to help you out. I left with a mattress and box spring and mattress pad that was on sale for $49. Who knew mattress pads costs so much? My biggest complaint is really pick up. I went to pick up my mattresses versus having them delivered because the delivery fee is ridiculous. When I went to pick them up, I waited...and waited... and waited. While the employees looked like they were just hanging out.
Furniture was very good quality and our son bought a sofa two chairs that we searched for. When the items were delivered we found out the sofa we bought also came with a chair and a half and a large ottoman. I really think your sales staff needs more training and should be able to guide customers better. Our salesman knew we were surching for chairs to match the sofa and never said the ottoman and chair was included in the price of the sofa. Thank goodness the chairs match the family room sofa.
If I have to get furniture in the future, The Dump won't be my first stop. I wasn't impressed with the prices. Yes, they were discounted compared to the original price that they have listed but...I'm not fully convinced. I will say that I like the mattresses and they sleep well.
You're still gonna spend a lot of money. I have shopped at the Dump numerous times. I bought a recliner for $400 that fell apart after 3 months. All of the great deals advertised on TV are never available when you get there. As well, the best deals are on very high priced items. You will get the items at a markdown price but you can the similar items at lower prices in other stores. It's a good place to buy expensive items but for a normal consumer it's just O.K.
I'm a repeat customer. I appreciate the prices and selection. I appreciated that our furniture was delivered on time Some salespeople are helpful and some are not, though their customer service seems to be improving. In our last trip here, we were especially impressed by the guys in the back at pick up. They caught an error made by our salesperson and made sure we left with what we purchased.
I am very happy with my purchase. The delivery guys should show you how to connect the pieces together of my sectional. Sometimes they are in a hurry. This is the only downside of my purchase. David and Josh (manager) made it happen with free delivery and the price. I would recommend these guys.
