Had a bad bracket in my MacBook causing it to not read the hard drive. Trey at the genius bar was super nice and engaging. He ended up replacing the part for free even though the computer is 5 years old. They manage to run a great store even with the amount of traffic they receive. Great job!
One of the best interactions I've had with retail. Walked in with a quick-fix issue, was told there was an hour and 40 minute wait. Said I just needed something replaced that was under my warranty, and the guy at the front of the store sent me over to the floor manager who solved my issue in 30 seconds. Walked out with everything I needed.
We were 5 minutes late on our appointment, the lady that checked us in said "you're late, but I'll check you guys in anyway" with a rude attitude. Mind you we love 45 minutes away from the store and they are always traffic in Atlanta. The next lady that check our phone was super nice and suggested us a full screen glass protector to help for future reference. She said it would take about an hour and a half, so we walked around the mall until it was ready. Then an hour and a half pass by and we called them to make sure it was done before we went in, the employee told us that they couldn't find the phone anywhere in here. She kept asking if it was under the correct name because a lot of customers put in another name all the time, but we told her that this was the correct name and we just dropped it off an hour and a half ago. So we decided to go in anyway to make sure we're our phone is that, the girl on the phone got mad at us because we were upset that her phone was missing. So the manager came to talk to us which he was very rude ( with the fire and ice tattoo on both arms) and he cut me off and he pretty much said that we were in the wrong and that employee did nothing wrong. From me working in retail I know that customers are always right no matter what and even if they are wrong that we would still try to make sure we get it fixed for them. He had my phone in his hand but he wanted to wait an extra 20 minutes for some reason in order to give our phone back. Never coming back here again to get service done .
Am a business customer and called their business specialists. Was told they had iphone X in stock and if I get there soon, should be no problem getting one. Got there in 30 minutes and they were sold out. Okay, they said to get on the app and find where one is in stock and I can reserve it. Well, app does not work for business customers I find out after wasting an hour on the phone with support (should not business customer service folks know this?). They then say they will order it for me and hopefully will come in before my trip 3 weeks later. It does not come in and he will try to see if he can hold a phone for me due to my bad experience (never hear from him). I call them (business folks again) and they tell me to use the app to try to find one (still giving out bad information--they should know better). In the meantime one of my employees ordered through Verizon a week after I did and gets phone in promptly. Seems like Apple Store and customer service does not know how to take care of business customers and Apple itself sets up the system to treat business customers like second class citizens.
I don’t understand how they have 50 employees milling about the store and every single one of them managed to actively ignore me. I just want to spend $2000 on a computer!! Someone help me!
