I recently moved my things out of storage into a townhouse. Atlanta Pro Move had the best estimate and honored my Angie's list membership with a discount. Troy, Q and Dre took were great with the move and completed it within the estimated time without any damage to my property. I would recommend them and use them again.
My husband and I hired Atlanta Pro Movers to move us into our new house this past weekend. They arrived on time (they even called us from the truck to give us their ETA), they were very friendly and professional, and they took great care of our furniture. They moved quickly and efficiently, and didn't even bat an eyelash when they had to carry heavy items to the second floor of the house. The best part - our bill was less than expected because they moved so quickly! These guys are definitely PROS, and I highly recommend them!
The move started off great...professional gentlemen. Took good care with moving my items from my storage unit to my brand new house. Once the move was completed and tipped was offered, I walked in my house. Moments later I came out and noticed my mailbox was missing (brand new house) I noticed the actual box sitting in my garage. I called the movers immediately and it went to voice mail. It was obvious they hit my mailbox, but didn't come in and notify me. Instead they sat it in my mailbox verses being professional enough to admit to their faults. I called the company immediately and the sales rep was helpful in assisting me to fix the issue. Due to this incident I would never recommend this company due to the lack of the professionalism of the movers. The most upsetting part is that they didn't admit that they hit it. Yet, how did my mailbox grow legs and walk itself into my garage? The next day I had neighbors come by and told me they witnessed the whole thing.
These guys came 35 minutes late. They moved extremely slow for one small storage unit. These people are not worth hiring. They will over charge you and damage your furniture. Where is the wrapping that was promised. No blankets were in the truck. Then they make up fees like 150 for fuel charge. I was told on the phone it's no more than 50. Bunch of crooks. Buyer beware.
First, these guys show up and they can't get their truck up the driveway, which Next Door Relocators did the following day. So, I ask the foreman, Troy, how they can work around this. He complains about us having a 2 bedroom apt., which is included in the estimate when I hired them. They complain that there are 2 beds, which there weren't. There was one bed with mattress, which is also included in the estimate. The foreman called his manager to say the move was impossible and they left. We paid a deposit and told them were the location was. They had all the information they needed to come prepared to move, including Google Earth to see the location beforehand. There's nothing odd about the location (1253 Church Street) of our apartment complex and people move in and out all the time. SO, we were left scrambling to find movers before the weekend was out. Luckily, Next Door Movers was willing and able to move us on short notice. As far as Atlanta Pro Movers go, I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. On a high note, they did refund my deposit.
