The hospital is good, it's the parking that I have issues with. You shouldn't have to worry about parking when your loved one has been kept here for days on end... if you come through the ER, you get validated parking, but if you have to stay unexpectedly, you can't leave and return unless you pay to park...you can park blocks away to keep from paying, but then you have to walk and for some people, that's not possible...healthcare is expensive enough, and this hospital makes its money...parking should not be an issue or concern for patients or tyre ones that take care of them.
My family member had 2 weeks of complicated inpatient cancer treatment. This is a huge facility but the care was personalized and effective. The medical team communicated well. The nurses and doctors were responsive and compassionate. Everyone was careful about cleanliness. They were good about keeping us informed. Parking is a hassle but you get a discount. Food is average. Overall excellent care. We were impressed.
Went to Emory University ER for chest pain's. I had as great an experience as anyone can have when being admitted to the hospital for three days. The ER staff was professional and caring. Cardiology department was the same. Everything was explained so I could understand. Maybe the thing I appreciated the most was that they let me get some rest. I was not woken up every two hours for vitals or medication or something. Everything seemed coordinated.
I initially had a long wait (which is expected when you go to an emergency room). Once I got registered and taken to my room, I’ve been treated just wonderfully!!! I am truly blessed and happy that I was taken care of by the EXCELLENT BT Hematology/Oncology Department at the Emory Hospital Main Campus.
A 2-year-old boy named A.J. is fighting for his life. And Emory University Hospital is refusing to perform a life-saving kidney transplant operation because of his father, Anthony Dickerson has a criminal record. Anthony is a 100% match to donate a kidney to his son--but after a probation violation, hospital administrators are denying him the chance.
