I went to the Spinal center for neck surgery and i had an awesome experience. From the chaplin service, to the hose which connected to my gown which pumped warm air. Awesome staff, etc.

I've had a rough year with my health this year. It started out in st Joseph's with a life-threatening rare vector-borne illness. Then before I finished recovering from that I got a stomach virus that also nearly wiped me out all over again. The St Joseph's emergency department is an amazing operation to me. I had a 104.5 degree fever when I came in the first time, and they checked me in quickly and got started pumping me with saline solution through iv which hydrated and cooled me down. Once they realized my disease was not normal they called an infectious disease specialist from Emory who came very quickly to asses me. He immediately admitted me to the hospital and started me on the cure for that disease, doxycycline. Sometimes in the emergency department I'd listen to what was going on elsewhere in the other rooms. Some folks had some way worse problems than me even. Real tragedies happen in there all the time. But I tell you no where on earth have I ever felt more cared about than the st Joseph's emergency department. Every single person works hard, cares about you, asks you lots of questions to be sure they fully understand what's going on with you, and if someone isn't sure what to do they find someone who does. The rooms are so clean and organized, and of course the equipment is state of the art and in good condition. I was so amazed when I realized that as high as the level of my care was (so many people works hard to help me) I was only one little bitty patient in one day in one week in one year, and they somehow manage to treat everyone this way. Everyone has such a positive attitude and is so kind despite the tragedies and tough situations they often deal with. I joked with my wife that I want a st Joseph's emergency room gift-card for my birthday because I'd like to hang out there in my free-time just to feel as cared about as they make you feel. You really feel in good hands there. It's expensive, but that's not st Joseph's fault. That's Obama care's fault. So judging by the service only it's really amazing to me. I won't go anywhere else if I have a medical emergency. Thank you st Joseph's

The staff at Emory Saint Joseph took care of an abscess on my face which was previously butchered at a local hospital. I came into the ER and they treated me and my family with the utmost professionalism that anyone in the medical field could learn from. I cannot thank the staff at Emory Saint Joseph hospital enough. Truly modern day saints. Thank you so much, and God bless you all.

So grateful for the ER staff, Observation Room staff, RN's, PA's, Emergency Room Doctors and the Cardiologist Dr Byron Williams who handled my situation, (and anyone else I am missing). This was a VERY positive experience given I have been in many hospitals due to a congenital heart defect. Everyone was so caring, and did everything they said they were going to do while taking extreme care with/of me. Thank you from the bottom of my great big heart!!! 1st class/5 star care ALL THE WAY! God bless you ALL!

This hospital is the best hospital that anyone could go to!! The staff is kind, and they genuinely care about their patients!! The flip side to that is, if you are a patient, it's important to be kind. I maintain a positive attitude and enjoy being polite to my doctors, nurses, techs, housekeeping staff, and anyone else I encounter. It's amazing what a little kindness on the patients part can do. I have spent extensive time here, and they have always made me feel at home. The few times when I was difficult, they recognized my fears and took the steps necessary to help me out. I love St. Joe's, and I proudly recommend it to anyone!!!
