I could not find any articles that says Mr.Takahashi denied about the comfort women. It looks like he just stated that those women had never been treated as slaves at the time. Also, I heard those women were hired, not kidnapped and they also got paid every month. I am not trying hurt anybody's feeling, but if that is true, I do not know how to call them other than prostitutes....I hope more explanation will be published later.
Takashi Shinozuka, Consul General of Japan in Atlanta is a disgusting person that needs to be fired immediately! In a recent interview, he claimed Japan never had comfort women and sex slaves in WWII and compared the forced comfort women to prostitutes. This is unacceptable and sickening for any human being to say and the fact that a Japanese government official says this represents how disgusting and unaware of history the current Japanese government is. This is no better than the actions of a Holocaust denier. Everyone must boycott this Consulate General until this filth is removed from his post and fired.
