The worst experience ever. I had to refile the same police report 4 times for identity theft due to the officers not listening to me. Officer FEELINGS was ok when initially filing the report. When I came back to have it revised the 3rd time because the credit bureau rejected it, she was very rude. She had a Sargent come out after having me wait 25 minutes and did not brief him on the issue. She tried to pass me off to another officer because she just simply does not want to do her job. The Sargent was rude and yelling at me until I gave him the same in return. His boss came out and finished revising the report for the 4th time. He was not that pleasant either and did not hold officer FEELINGS or her Sargent accountable for their mistakes. Instead he blamed me and told me I should only be upset with the city of Atlanta because they were supposed to handle my report, not zone 6 precinct. Even though I lived in zone 6 (what an idiot). Save your time and just call an officer to your house to file a report. Or find another precinct other than this one.
I had a wonderful experience with the officers from this precinct. They really do care. They deserve to be recognized for doing an outstanding job. Give them your support. They have earned it.
Still waiting for a call back for a report we filed over a month ago after my son was robbed...a detective reached out a few times but never followed thru after that....still waiting for word on how to proceed.
Seriously flawed leadership.
