Useless.. Waist of tax payers money and they don't do anything to help the community.
Living and working in Zone 2 for 15+ years and between been pulled over, auto accident claims, legal questions and theft report, I've had 8 direct contacts with Zone 2 officers either inside the precinct or on street. As a Hispanic, I have heard and seen horror stories dealing with police but from my personal experience, every single interaction I have had with Zone 2 has been cordial and very professional.
Had the most horrible experience that I can express. This lady whose name was Cate Smith was rude it can be and advised me to deal with my problem. SMH if we can't depend on the law I guess we can take things on our on hand...the law don't work at it best.

The most horrible Police department I've ever dealt with in my life! Do not expect to get any help unless you are a celebrity and, or you can pay them off monetarily. I went in to file a report for fraud that was committed against me and they didn't even take my information. They just sat behind the window laughing and eating doughnuts, literally. They gave me the number to call the major fraud division instead of taking a report! Anyone should know that you cannot call over the phone to make a police report. So my intuition told me to go back the next day and try again. They finally took my report. One officer was like, "oh, I seen you yesterday, I thought you made a report?" Ditto. I didn't get a call back from the major fraud division until a month later! I also had a domestic violence situation going on simultaneously while experiencing fraud and all they could say is, it's civil, they can't help with that. I've called them so many different times for assistance from the individual hurting me and they got so annoyed with me calling, an officer stated that he would personally arrest me himself if he found I was falsifying information. Why would I call so many times needing help to report fraud, domestic violence and theft and get arrested when I am I fear of my life? To the City Hall I go!
