Nice environment, comfortable screening rooms. And your parking ticket gets validated so you basically have 4 free hours of parking. Concession stand prices a bit up there though, but overall great experience.
The concession stand employees are unbelievably slow ! What's the point in having two attendants at the register ? Watching them put popcorn in the bag and fill up a diet coke was just painful. I have never in my life experienced such blasé service. You would think management might tell them the people in line have an over priced movie to watch so get moving. The sound in the theater was super low. I love the atmosphere of a theater but the sound clearly comes from the front, no surround sound so was legit like watching a movie in your living room. Go somewhere else .... this place is dreadful!
Theater is pretty nice and spacious. Snacks are regular prices as well. However, VIP is the only place you can watch a movie comfortably. You have to pay extra to have nice comfortable seats and other local theaters don’t charge extra for this.
30 minutes after the advertised screening time, theater informed people that the screen had an issue and the screening was cancelled. So it took 30 minutes for them to figure it out. GOOD JOB ON WASTING PEOPLE'S TIME!!!
Not a fan. Have no idea why people say this is the best theater in Atlanta. Maybe because most of them are just plain bad? The Avalon is way above and beyond this theater. Why do I have to be VIP to get alcohol? Concession lines are always long. Not all theaters are upgraded. Not coming back.
I used to go here many many times about 3-4 years ago, before Atlantic Station became popular. I never had to deal with box office lines because I do my purchases online. Usually had an average experience but for the price you pay, there are better theaters. Today I dropped my gf there for a movie, and she told me the screen was off during pre-movie screenings of upcoming shows and movies. I called them on the number listed in Google and their own page to let them know, and it doesn't work. You pay $$$$ here, and phones don't work. It may be an isolated incident but I don't care if a theater like this cannot maintain their phone line properly. What kind of establishment cannot maintain a phone line in this age? Go to this theater if you want to throw your money away.
