Nice seats and average theater overall. Ticket was $15! I guess it must be the standard for really large theaters, but this is the first time I've paid more than $10 to see a film and it was an unpleasant surprise.
We have sat here the entire movie burning up. I approached the manager a few different times and asked her to check the temperature. Each time I was met with an apology and a promise that it would get cooler. Almost an hour and half into the movie I went out again and approached another theater representative. This individual announced that the air was broken in our screening room. I am more than upset at the lack of attention and common courtesy. We have lived in the Buckhead community for years and attended many movies at this theater without any flaws up until now. I highly recommend you not give them the opportunity to let you sit in a sauna to watch a movie. Very unhappy with this evening.
Gotta say my recent trips here have been pretty amazing! Kaylah, the manger gets a special thanks for helping me search for my BRAND NEW iPhone today! A lot of inconveniece was avoided today, thank you so much to everyone at Phipps AMC that tried to help me too! I will definitely be back!
Loved the reclining chairs they were great! This amc is pretty nice compared to the ones I've been too.
I really liked this theater. My mom and I saw 12 Years a Slave at this theater. We loved the movie and loved the theater. My only complaint was that there was a woman with a baby to see this movie. The baby whined the whole time and the parents were not considerate enough to remove themselves with the child. At pivotal points of the movie, I couldn't get engulfed in the emotional content because this baby kept whining. So annoying. Aside from that, the theater was great. Plush couch/lounge type seats that recline.
The biggest problem though is the low "bwah" noise coming from adjacent rooms. I have experienced this in other theaters, but here it was so loud that it took me half the movie to realize the noise wasn't part of the soundtrack!
