Yesterday I gave this court nearly $300 because I did not come to a complete stop at a stop sign??? Then they had the nerve to add another $5 convenience charge at the checkout counter. I'm sure we can all agree that this doesn't add up! I mean who comes up with these fee's? There is no justice in this building, they are only scamming people out of their hard earned money!
I received a traffic citation because I didn't use the correct signal. I've been driving for about 30 years and I have never been pulled over for failing to use my signal. This all happened as I was trying to find an address in Atlanta as I was lost. The officer wasn't rude but despite me telling her I was lost and clearly not familiar with the area. This should have been a warning. This was totally uncalled for. A fine of $189.78 as if I had ran a light or worse. As stated this should have been a warning but it seems they are money hungry and I say that because I paid the fine and was charged a processing fee of $10. All of this to avoid the hassle of losing a day's work and wasting time going into Atlanta. This deters one from traveling into the city. I chose 1 star in order to post. My score is 0.
Horrible Customer Service, trying to pay a ticket over the phone or online is a horrible. The worst possible customer service possible. They hung up the phone on me multiple times and I have been trying to call for 2 weeks to pay this ticket. What a waste of time and tax dollars. Obviously, someone needs to be fired and hire someone who can get this place organized and hold people accountable for their job!!!
I'm a patient person. I'm not angry. But this is a warning for anybody going through this process. They don't pick up the phone. Simple.
I'm sorry but when you are in a business that has something to do with people's FREEDOM you'd think these courts would take things a little bit more seriously. First of all, delete the number from google because you guys never answer anyway. Atlanta gotta do better. You're representing the whole state and the reviews online are TRASH. You know you need to start over when McDonalds customer service is better than yours. My lord. you guys are terrible. Point, blank, period.
