Before my dog was even a patient, Denise spent a good amount of time on the phone with me and telling me how I can take care of the problem my dog was having. She was super friendly and extremely helpful. Later, my dog became a patient here. The staff and vet were so nice! Our visit was quick and easy. The place is also well-maintained and very neat and clean. The prices are overall not bad, considering the high-quality care and efficiency ($61 for a yearly check-up; free nail-clipping when combined with a service). More importantly, they were so good with my dog!
I've been with PFAH for so many years now! I can't say enough good things about them. They've seen us through some very tough experiences and decisions and have been amazing. They treat our dogs like they would their own, they are exceptional at what they do.
For me, a blue collar guy who loves dogs, the question is not so much whether PFAH is good or bad but rather like many others like them, they/re just too expensive. Being a pet owner is becoming a luxury which is a shame especially for those on a fixed income (i.e. seniors, veterans) who may need the company of a pet more than most.
I cannot thank the staff enough for helping us with the three little orphans we brought in for care at Powers Ferry Animal Hospital. On top of being incredibly generous and compassionate, their gentle, tender loving care while examining and treating these sweet kitties truly made what is usually a stressful situation so much more pleasant. Without Powers Ferry, we would not have been able to find loving homes for these babies as quickly as we did. Dr. Wright, Bethany and Liz went above and beyond what we ever could have expected, and I HIGHLY and with great enthusiasm recommend them to anyone who needs top quality care for their pets.
