It has been almost a year since i last eaten at Nick's so of course when i recently ate there i had two concerns...was the cucumber sauce still the best in the game and was it still worth the drive? I am happy to report yes on both accounts! I was not disappointed at all. The lamb gyro was delicious and my fries were fried crispy just the way i like it. Soon they will have to remove that sign that reads "Best eats under 10.00"
With the possibility of Nick's not renewing their lease, It's probably better to check them out sooner than later. I'm a big fan of ma and pa shops and this is a prime example of a great establishment.
As the name suggests, this is primarily a to-go joint. There are a few benches but you'll probably want to enjoy their food more comfortably.
The food is always consistent. I'd argue they have the best gyro around town. It has the strong flavor you'd expect but is cut nicely with the white sauce and fresh vegetables. Their sauce, as well as the Greek potatoes, have a nice citrus zest. Everything is always fresh here.
Amazing food. Order the lamb gyro with everything in it. No substitutions, just go for it. You'll be so happy you did.

Delicious - often not open or slow but no big deal
We were a family of five, sat outside because the weather was nice, we all ordered gyros, they were awesome, everybody loved them. The people are super nice, only downfall, I wish there was a restroom!
