I'd give these guys a 10 if the rating system went that high. I needed a new door knob set for the door going from the garage into the house, and as it turned out, the old knob set isn't manufactured any longer and all the other doors were of the same old type and I wouldn't have been able to use the same key if I had gone to a big box store and bought a competitor knob. SS Locksmith (Sheila) found a compatible knob set that would take the old key, and it came in the same day they ordered it. That was a big stress reliever for me, however, after I tried to install the new knob, I ran into a problem which resulted from me not knowing any of the tricks of installation, and also because the instructions in the box weren't clear. I called SS Locksmith and reached Kirk who was on call and he patiently helped me troubleshoot, looked at pictures I sent him, and finally figured out the mistake I was making. With this knowledge, I finally understood the "trick" and I was able to successfully install the door knob and it works great. Kirk was amazingly patient, professional, knowledgeable and helpful. If I have any lock issues in the future, you can be sure I'll be calling on Kirk and the rest of the gang over at SS Lock for their expert help!
As a realtor, I have a lot of keys made for my listings. The keys that real Sandy Springs locksmith makes are "spot on" and work perfectly every time. It’s alway good to have a “just in case” locksmith and many aren’t reputable. I’ve used some before for emergencies and I’ve just not had a good experience. All that changed today. These guys are polite, inexpensive, quick and honest. I’d recommend them completely.
Daniel was awesome! Had some challenging experiences previously trying to get a key made at two different places. Each time the key copy did not work. But...not here! He cracked the code made two copies and both worked. I will definitely go directly to them in the future.
