I just want to buy a gallon of grits if I could!!!! First time here and I'm loving the service and the food
The southern style eggs Benedict was the greatest savory breakfast food to ever grace my palate. The grits were perfectly creamy; I now understand why people love grits. The coffee was really good, although mileage may vary, my first cup was better than the second, probably fresher. The French toast was okay; they could stand to learn from original pancake house when it comes to keeping French toast moist. The sauces that came with it met but did not exceed my expectations, maybe I'm more of a maple syrup guy.
Flying Biscuit should offer plain biscuits without the sugar on the top. I dust it off amd enjoy.
Consistent, tasty, comfort food. Great staff, including front house. Customers could use a little encouragement to stand in the alley between the counter service and window seating. In hash weather front door is crowded to the point of impeding incoming and outgoing diners.
Delicious food and reasonably price. LOVE the Creamy Dreamy Grits! Can be crowded with a long wait time on the weekends but totally worth it!
Nice portion sizes. Tasty menu items that all seem to be made from scratch. Very busy during weekend breakfast time...prepare for a wait.
Overall I loved my meal and will come back many times. Advice to others: go savory, stick with what they're great at.
