So I broke my mountain bike and as it was a late model the needed parts for the repair were no longer available. PATRICK went above and beyond helping with he process of getting my bike replaced with a new one thought the shop. I love my new bike. I have always found this shop helpful and willing to help me out with excellent service. I also had them restore an older bike of mine, they did a very nice job and kept the costs very reasonable. Thanks Outback!!
eh just so so. i expected better service and the pricing is about 20% higher than it should have been. neat spot but thats about it
I was quite disappointed yesterday. I walked in with the intent of buying a bike or two and possibly a trailer for my son, but left extremely frustrated. My wife and I walked in and weren't even acknowledged the whole time we were in the store (~15-20 mins). We looked at a few bikes on our own but were hoping to get some assistance and maybe even try out a bike or two. Not a single employee acknowledged our presence or asked if we needed any assistance during our entire visit to this store. Now, I guess this would have been fine if we noticed that this is how they treat everyone that comes in the door. But instead we noticed that multiple people came in and out of the store and were immediately greeted and offered assistance. We even had an employee walk right by us and not even utter a single word. My wife was quite upset. She was the true reason we left because I probably would have just tried to buy a bike anyway. But she helped me come to my senses and I'm glad she did. I don't know if race or assumption of economic status had anything to do with it but it surely came across that way. Everyone that received service possessed far less melanin than we did. And if that lead to assumptions of our financial status then too bad for Outback because we are definitely in a position and had plans to spend quite a bit of money with you guys. I was quite disappointed because I truly wanted to buy a bike and deliberately chose this particular store since it is so close to our home. I am obviously taking my business and any future maintenance elsewhere. I recommend any person of color do the same.
Probably my new favorite. I've been to several shops in town and it's hard to get the time of day in some of them. These guys really put effort into taking care of me and finding a solution to my bike issue. Parking is a bear! Might be good to just ride here instead ;)
I'd like to say thanks and that i really appreciate all the help making me go faster and answering any questions I had. To the bike techs keep up the great work and don't stop being awesome.
