One time, I had fixed a luggage rack to my bike at home in a sub-optimal way. Even though I was there for something else, the mechanic at the shop advised me on how to fix it better to my bike, without scratching the frame up. He even gave me the hardware required for free! I was blown away by how nice they were. (Mind you, neither the bike nor the rack was bought there, so they really went above and beyond).
Friendly 2-3 employees on hand at a time, very helpful and competent.
Will be coming back for all my cycling needs.
They did a basic tune up, as well as replaced the brake component, and even adjusted my poor (short) kickstand all for roughly $55
Great price. Fair- good I'd say.
I ended up going to Intown Bicycles just because it was closest. I had intended on checking out a couple of other bike shops but honestly from the moment I got there I was impressed with everything about the place. Mike was a person I met with at the beginning. He spent about an hour with me going over different bikes and sharing all of his experience and advice to help me pick out the right bike. What I enjoyed is that I could tell he was interested more so in me getting me on the right bike versus trying to upsell to the most expensive bikes. I went back a couple times just to make sure that I was sure of which bike I wanted to get and each person I walked to was very helpful. Even after the purchase when they assembled the bike and got it all ready to go, the service guy (Craig) spent another 30 minutes with me making sure I was comfortable with everything before I left. Excellent customer service all the way around. And as far as pricing, I looked all over online to compare prices online at other locations with Intown prices. Intown was right in line with everyone else in the pricing. Even a few dollars less than many places. And what's great is the free tune up for 6 months. I can only speak about my experience at this particular shop but I would highly recommend anyone looking ITP to drop in.
Great and cool feeling spot.
Took an old bike in for a full tune up and a few part replacements. They got it done in a week and the price was about half of a used bike. They were extremely friendly and helpful too!
Very nice little bike shop. They have helped me out numerous times selecting parts or fixing my bike. They are always very friendly.
No doubt one of the best bike shops in Atlanta. I can't find one negative thing about the staff or the shop itself. They were extremely helpful when I came in looking for a new road bike and I got mine ordered and was riding 3 days later. Since then they've been helpful when I've came in for adjustments and assisted me a lot when I had to pack and ship my bike. Thanks intown bikes!
I had a bad chain, complely loose handle bars with a rounded hex nut, a really loose accident waiting to happen pedal, and a completely shot front brake line (nut connector)
