My friend and I came here as foodies following the diners, drive Ins and dives trail and I will have to disagree with Guy Fieri. The service was beyond bad. I think the waitress saw 2 females and assumed there was no tip in it for her and gave up. The food was at a best mediocre. I had the southern slam and my friend had the beef stroganoff. Both were luke warm and I am sure the burger was not a fresh made patty. The mac and cheese was the best thing we tasted and it wasn't anything to write home about. Sorry that we choose this as our last meal in Atlanta.
Good service, reasonable prices, and some innovative food options (pasta-wrapped mozzarella sticks) make this a repeat visit. Free parking.
You can always track down on Friday night "Metal music" oceans of tattoos, friendly unassuming people and excellent bartenders at The Highlander". There is smoking there but an eccellent air system. It's a fun place.
So tonight we ordered 2 cups of coffee but they were too full so we asked for an extra cup to pour out the excess. Well the empty cup they brought had roach in it. When we got the servers attention and she saw the roach, she took the napkin with the dead roach and the empty cup and left. Nothing else. Not an apology, replacement, offer to comp anything....nothing. When I approached someone, he basically told me that it couldn't have come from the cup. Seriously, horrible reaction to a customer's experience. And the servers never came back to the table.
