Really enjoyed this place! I went for breakfast and it was Delicious!!! I had the chicken and waffles and it was perfect! The waiter was really good too. I’m definitely adding this to my list of great breakfast spots in ATL.
Chris was a phenomenal server. He was on top of making sure our coffee cup didn't go empty and was very courteous. A few of his fellow staff was on top of clearing empty plates from our tables. Food was delicious and came out at a timely manner. I highly recommed the "Biscuits and Gravy" and the "Foul Play". Would've been perfect if it weren't for the screeching child in the restaurant. Still 5/5 for the food and service since parents should be responsible for their own children. Sorry there aren't any food pic. Food was too enticing the moment it was served.
Atmosphere inside the restaurant was good, not too loud or crowded.
We had frozen Irish coffee to drink, good choice, just the right amount of bailee's and what seemed to be homemade whipped cream topping it.
Wait staff was both friendly and helpful.
The chicken is cooked to perfection, had both chicken and waffles as well as chicken and biscuits, both meals were great with the chicken being perfect. A friend ordered salmon eggs Benedict, I was told that also tasted great.
I ordered the Folk Southern Comfort and it was delicious. The sausage gravy was absolutely phenomenal. Perfect combination with the fried chicken and house made biscuits. Drinks were tasty, however, the alcohol content was a little on the lower side. The decor and atmosphere were awesome - old school folk with some new school vintage.
Took 20 minutes to be seated around 930 on a Saturday morning, which compared to most brunch places is pretty darn quick.
The food came out in a reasonable time.
My favorite restaurant in Atlanta for casual eats. Plenty of food options here for everyone including vegan and vegetarian choices. Their smoked salmon platter is my favorite thing on their menu. Drinks are yummy too! Get a bailey's coffee for sure!
