Great neighborhood bar atmosphere with very friendly customer service. I'd just as readily meet friends here as I would bring my family/kids.
A classic. Great burgers, cold beer, lots of TVs to watch sport ... and the old and dark interior is fantastic.
A neighborhood institution. Friendliest staff, easy going atmosphere and really good bar food. Sit in the back bar for the peace and quiet of a dim corner, or in the front window booths to watch the neighborhood traffic flow past. They also have a sweet sidewalk patio for nice weather.
The atmosphere is nice and relaxing and the food is great. I like the Reuben sandwich but the burgers are fantastic as well.
Since 1983, this place has been my "go-to" comfort zone...George's = Great Place, Tasty Food, Cold Drinks & Friendly Crowd...It's a part of Atlanta/Virginia Highlands that makes you a member of the "neighborhood family"!
