I could barely walk when I went in to see Dr. Li for sciatic pain. (Dr. Lily Li and her father has treated my parents for many decades and I was next in line to see her work her magic.) I went to my "western" doctor before seeing Dr. Li and was offered a cortisone shot, an anti inflammatory, and steroids. I knew this was not the health route I wanted to take. Dr. Li was extremely thorough in her examination. She did not rush or rush me, I felt cared for and knew she genuinely wanted me to feel better. My experience involved needles in various places with a heat lamp, some cupping, and stomping of my feet! Acknowledging everyone's experience will be different, I felt relieve with hours. I could walk the next without wincing with pain. I wish I had not spent the time and hundreds of dollars with the other doctors, I regret not going to see Dr. Li immediately when my sciatic was irritated. Dr. Li truly works miracles.
