Parking can be a bit of trouble, especially if there is an event going on at Grant Park. Parking will be better once they get the new parking deck installed at the Grant Park side.
Great Zoo experience. It is affordable and convenient. Season passes are worth it. Great active animals and nice exhibit areas. The new reptile house if very good.
The set up of this place was creative and the variety of animals is pretty vast. I wish the viewing areas were a bit better, especially for the gorillas because it was hard to catch a glimpse. I have been to much better zoos in smaller cities so I was expecting a lot more, especially for the price! Not sure if I would go back honestly, nothing special.
Our family loves visiting the zoo. The lion, panda, and reptile exhibits are big hits with our kids. The playground is a nice bonus to let the littles run wild. Our son love the train! A trip to Zoo Atlanta never disappoints!
The place was actually rather breathtaking! However the food prices where outrageous so I decided to be hungry during the duration of my visit. Overall the Zoo was fabulous. Parking and Food prices should be improved.
It's a good zoo, plenty to see if you want a quick thing to do. The animals were all out for the most part, which was great. They had a few shows explaining the gorillas and orangutans. We got to see them feed the gorillas. My son may have been too young to really enjoy it, although I definitely did, but I think it's a great place to take children around 3 and up. They have a petting zoo, huge slide, water area where children can play in the water, and a few other kid friendly activities.
