Just moved back we took our shihtzus here before. 2 years later I'm not sure if they have a new groomer or their Dallas, TX groomer was just that good but 170 bucks with tip for two dogs I'm highly disappointed in the cut. I don't think their face was cut well at all and a week later it looked a hot mess now two weeks later they look like how I originally brought them to get groomed. Seeking a new groomer asap. Total waste of money I will not be returning.
They were also really communicative, calling the owner to say they'd be another hour and a half.
The convenience of the Midtown location from where I live is great. My Yorkie HATES groomers and gets super anxious so I try to set up appointments where I pick him up 3-4hrs. after drop off (max). The Pet Set accommodated that, which I appreciated. Kyle did the grooming and did a great job. He made sure he knew exactly what I wanted and executed perfectly. My little buddy looks his handsome self.
Wasn't even my dog. She was a husky, and they spared all day to work on her. When she finally walked out, she was probably 10 pounds lighter and smelled so much better. She was still a bit wet, but nothing a windy day can't fix.
Do not use this groomer. Atrocious.
THE WORST place I have ever worked, never EVER in my life have I worked for a shop where I was treated as a workhorse, not a human being by an employer so cheap, self centered and selfish. I've been grooming for 20+ years and let the staff know I was comfortable grooming 6 dogs but could extend to 8 if necessary. The owner/staff repeatedly suggested I do 10 or more dogs, which is excessive, and without my permission would book over 10 dogs for me. I explained as a groomer, I have integrity in my work and there is no way to do that many dogs, having them look great giving clients what they paid for. They did not care about quality, only quantity which is sad considering the prices charged. I recently had an issue with money being deducted from my check without explanation. There was 107 dollars missing from a check then when I questioned it I was told a client wasn't happy with a groom so was given a refund. The groom was 69 so why was 107 taken out? Greedy selfish owner Bob. So a week later I groomed a dog with a serious ear infection. I told the reception staff to let the owner know the dog needed to go to the vet. I get a call later that evening, the manager tells me the owner took her dog to the vet and was told I gave the dog this infection and wanted her bill paid. This was an infection that was well established, did not happen in one day, I explained this to the manager Jeremy and he agreed with me. So a week later after I quit following the 107 dollars theft from my check they take 200 from my last check for this dogs vet bill!! Bob being so greedy and selfish and figured I was leaving anyway took my money for something I did not do just to get a scam artist client off his back. I would not recommend groomers work for this man unless you enjoy being pimped out and abused. I wouldn't recommend grooming here because remaining staff have no idea what a good groom looks like.
