I go to Piedmont Dog Park almost every weekend. It's the best place for my high energy city dog to run and socialize. So thankful to have the park and all it has to offer near by.
Piedmont is the perfect place to go and enjoy the outdoors! It’s large enough to hold a multitude of festivals and concerts, but always feels homey. You’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the city at sunrise or sunset. You haven’t seen Atlanta if you haven’t visited Piedmont!
Really fun place to walk, play games, soak up the sun and more. The park frequently hosts events throughout the year. I have even seen casual sports leagues, like kickball, play in the park all seasons.
I have been here for everything from a day lazily walking through the park, to high foot-traffic music festivals, to cultural food experiences. This park is well maintained and very clean. There is lots of space for activities, and parking within the park's parking structure is affordable. I have never felt in fear of crime here.
[Warning: young adults from Central Florida here for just a visit] Since we wouldn’t be in the area long, we took a crash course of PIEDMONT PARK BY BIKING through it-- via the Relay Bike Share bike rental. I love parks with MANY BUILT-IN ACTIVITY AREAS such as dog parks, tennis courts, bocce ball, gardens… and all of those were spread out among the huge Piedmont Park space. YOU ALMOST THINK YOU’VE ESCAPED THE CITY. There’s a plethora of bathrooms and water fountains-- always a plus. My favorite part was deep into the park - the northeast area - where the crowds disappeared, and we had the paths to ourselves.
