It lacks activities for youth outside. The night sky is beautiful but closing the gates makes no sense. The night sky from the park is one of the best views you will find. Too many gates that serve no purpose all over the city. No fruits to pick or nuts. I haven't seen any charging stations nor campsites.. music is automated playing the same songs... The fountains have no fish. Dogs must be leashed. Fountains also don't have frogs lizards salamanders ducks geese etc. Flowing water with no purpose seems contrary to the ideals of coca
Nice open park...just don't go right before independence day. The entire park was gated off in preparation for the fourth of July celebration. Well maintained grass and shrubbery areas. The fountains and walkways were also impeccable.
Great place for multi-cultural fun! There are Atlanta natives, visitors from the states and abroad, homeless, rich, middle class, poverty level people just enjoying the theraputic view. No one bothers you as you stroll through. A lot of smiles, great kids, great people, good food and fun!
This park is alike an open air homeless shelter (like most other parks in Atlanta), but this one has a nice interactive fountain and a couple of playgrounds. This is also a good place to stretch your legs if you work downtown.
Lovely place. Great place to take pictures and spend time with family. You can go to the World of Coca-Cola or Georgia Aquarium from there. They have a playground for the kids. The only bad thing is that the fountain gives off a fish smell.
