I haven't been there yet but one of my customers told me it is the best place to shop...he said to go there to get the best prices on collard greens and Thanksgiving food. All seniors and folks in the West End couldn't wait for the renovations and are pleased with the re-opening. This place is great for soul food and probably one of the last butcher (non-kosher) shops in town. Friendly staff assisting even with take out to car. Store is clean and well lit inside and out.
Big bass OK, I think that there may be a issue with attitudes on the front line but I believe it has gotten better since they renovated the place. The price is OK especially on the ribs and I must say that the ribs are good quality and fresh.
